There the expert luthiers use traditional methods to construct the body which is finished in a special dark oil varnish developed for the Australian market. Ebony pegs, chinrest, endpin and fingerboard are carefully shaped and fitted.Upon landing in Australia each viola is inspected before being made into outfits in our warehouse. German Pirastro Piranito strings are added to the outfit along with the Wittner Ultralight tailpiece and aged maple bridge supplied with the instrument.
